Security Manager – Protective Service Associate Professionals Not Elsewhere Classified (UK Visa Sponsorship)

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Lead, manage, and train security personnel to ensure a high standard of performance.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Oversee the operation of security systems, including access control and CRM security features.
• Develop, implement, and test incident response and emergency action plans.
• Collaborate with external security service providers to ensure consistent security coverage.
• Organize and deliver security awareness and training programs for all staff.
• Monitor compliance with security regulations and industry standards.
• Manage the security department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect security staff performance and enforce standards.
• Interview, recruit, and hire new security officers in line with BS7858 vetting and screening guidelines.
• Ensure all security personnel hold valid SIA licenses and meet legal requirements.
• Prepare and submit detailed security reports to senior management.
• Continuously review and improve security strategies in response to emerging threats.

Qualifications:

• Professional certification in security management (desirable but not essential).
• Knowledge of BS7858 vetting and screening standards.
• Knowledge of accounts and operations.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and health & safety standards.

Experience:

• Proven experience in a Security Industry.
• Experience leading and training security teams.
• Experience with security systems, access control, and CRM platforms.
• Hands-on experience conducting security audits, site inspections, and incident investigations.
• Familiarity with collaborating alongside external security service providers.
• Previous experience managing security operations within corporate, retail, or industrial environments is an advantage.
