Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Lead, manage, and train security personnel to ensure a high standard of performance.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
- Oversee the operation of security systems, including access control and CRM security features.
- Develop, implement, and test incident response and emergency action plans.
- Collaborate with external security service providers to ensure consistent security coverage.
- Organize and deliver security awareness and training programs for all staff.
- Monitor compliance with security regulations and industry standards.
- Manage the security department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect security staff performance and enforce standards.
- Interview, recruit, and hire new security officers in line with BS7858 vetting and screening guidelines.
- Ensure all security personnel hold valid SIA licenses and meet legal requirements.
- Prepare and submit detailed security reports to senior management.
- Continuously review and improve security strategies in response to emerging threats.

Qualifications:
- Professional certification in security management (desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of BS7858 vetting and screening standards.
- Knowledge of accounts and operations.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance and health & safety standards.
Experience:
- Proven experience in a Security Industry.
- Experience leading and training security teams.
- Experience with security systems, access control, and CRM platforms.
- Hands-on experience conducting security audits, site inspections, and incident investigations.
- Familiarity with collaborating alongside external security service providers.
- Previous experience managing security operations within corporate, retail, or industrial environments is an advantage.
