We are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to work in our prestigious company.

Main Duties

Zem Services Limited would see that the main role of the Operations Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operational management in line with customer and contractual expectations. In doing so, the Operations Manager will manage operational needs and requirements by providing strong visible leadership, demonstrating professionalism, integrity and managing the sites security teams to ensure a consistent high quality service delivery and prompt response to all security related incidents.

Responsibilities – The Operations Manager will be responsible for:-

  • To oversee the safety and security of the organisation.
  • Inspecting the facility conditions, performance of tools and equipment.
  • Check compliance of work stream processes to the safety and regulations protocols of the Company.
  • Conducting risk assessment and security investigations.
  • Hiring new security officer according to BS 7858 screening and vetting process.
  • SIA License check, interviewing security candidates.
  • Maintaining and updating company policies.
  • Scheduling staff Rota, preparing documents including IS09001 and SIA standard compliance documents.
  • Building relationship between security Guards and clients and bringing new business for the company.

The Operations Manager position requires a highly motivated individual who is able to supervise, the security team and train them in compliance to the vulnerabilities.   • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment, and incident management.
  • Familiarity with security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of security regulations and BS7858 screening and vetting standards.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and security software.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze security threats proactively.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field (preferred).
  • SIA Security License (mandatory).
  • Certification in Risk Management or Security Operations is an advantage.
  • First Aid, Fire Safety, or other relevant security training certifications (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security management, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing security teams and implementing security policies.
  • Hands-on experience with security systems and incident management.

Notes

  • The Security Manager should be adaptable to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights if necessary.
  • Must be willing to travel for site inspections and coordination with different locations.
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity are essential for this role.
